Our Erasmus project „Green Teen Entrepreneurs“ (GTE) is about developping entrepreneurial skills by looking for sustainable solutions to environmental problems and thus about career and business orientation for students in the 9th to 11th grade. Cultural differences in the business world are also examined and experienced in intercultural meetings between the participating countries Germany, Spain, Lithuania and Italy.
In 24 months, we set up student companies in order to manufacture, promote and sell sustainable and eco-friendly products on local markets. The students find out about the Do’s and Don’ts when looking for a job, and learn about (inter-)national business etiquettes. Another feature is that students need to get in touch with other students from foreign countries to participate in an international assessment center, which will further strengthen the participants‘ intercultural and social skills and prepares them better for a global job market.
